About this course

This course is conceived as a minimal preparation necessary for the first engineering courses and other degrees in which mathematics are taught.In it we review the basic concepts of sets, basic terminology and the fundamental properties of numbers (real and complex).

What will I learn?

In this course you will remember:

  • The set and its operations concept
  • The elementary mathematical notation.
  • The different types of numbers: natural, whole, rational, irrational and real.
  • Finally you will learn the necessary basic concepts on complex numbers.

Previous requirements

The course is essentially self -contained.For its proper use it is sufficient to be familiar with elementary mathematical notation.

Professor hired Doctor of the Polytechnic University of Valencia attached to the Higher Technical School of Design.Member of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Professor today in the mathematical subjects I and Mathematics III in the degree in Aerospace Engineering.He is the author of a manual on integral calculation.
